WHAT'S ON OFFER

The Club organises events and supports shows and fairs. There are also touring runs for members to join in and visits, for example to car manufacturer’s factories and motoring museums. The monthly Club Nights are popular as is the colour magazine which covers a wide variety of matters of interest to the old car enthusiast There is also an e mail monthly Newsletter to give information on imminent events shows and matters affecting members. The four annual major events run by the Club are detailed below.

 Spring Run and Treasure Hunt

Normally arranged on the FBHVC “Drive It Day” in April. This is a popular run around the Wirral with a lunch time finish
. This is an informal day to enjoy a run in your classic with the option of a separate Treasure Hunt (not a part of the drive) for the Treasure Hunt Trophy. All classic car enthusiasts are welcome at the finish.

The 2012 event was on Sunday 22 April and attracted a good entry and the organisers, last year's winners, Peter and Val Madge had worked very hard to produce a very professional quiz. The event was won by Graham and Anne Williamson in their 1937 Austin 7 Ruby with Paul Cracknell in his 1930 Morris Oxford second.
